It's been quite a week for me. I am refinishing two pieces of furniture, cleaned out three closets, and donated eight trash bags of goods. And not to mention I trashed four garbage bags of junk. Spring cleaning!
I am starting a new sewing project that I am looking forward to sharing with you soon. Also, my niece is sending me fabric to make her a dress for her birthday party, which needs to be completed in under two short weeks! I am praying for time on my side.
I also did a little shopping at HomeGoods, and I found an awesome mirror on clearance and a really interesting sculptural piece that I might turn into a light fixture. I'll keep you posted if I decide to keep it. The mirror is a definite keeper. How could I turn this down??? All it needs is a bold color of spray paint.
As you can see, I'm kind of letting my living room go (no colors, no decorative things, no pillows). I decided once I buy a rug, I will then decorate around it. This mirror has made a big difference for the living room though. You can see what it use to look like here. I did repaint my living room awhile back, and now it's a really light gray/blue.
Okay, onto Fabric Friday! Here are a few prints that I currently like on Etsy.
I'm having a little Q&A, if you want to participate. You can ask me anything you want to know more of. My blog, my life, my education, should you wear that?, should you buy this?, the sports I played in college (ha! none, so don't ask that), my favorite celebrity or place to eat, or even how I do my hair in the morning. It's all up to you!
Thanks for stopping in, and have a great weekend!
