I am finally breaking down and getting a pair of boots (or at least I am telling myself that). I don't know which pair yet, but I know this year I will hopefully sport the boot over the jeans look. What? Am I like two years behind?
I'm okay with being really really late on the whole bootie thing though.
Here are my search results/wish list.
If anyone is feeling generous, I will gladly accept
the Frye Paige Tall Riding Boot modestly priced at $348.
And just for giggles, Frye makes baby boots. Yes, so your 2 month old
can be just as stylish as you are. $38 (or a week's worth a gas, dinner for two at a restaurant, movies for 3, a box of diapers, 2 boxes of wipes, 50% of a week's groceries)
Here are 3 reasonable boots I will search out for.
Now, I just need some skinny little legs to go with 'em.
And one last picture that is totally off topic but I just had to share!
I don't understand the feelings I feel when I look at this picture.
What do you feel?
(Maybe it's her pants and popped collar that are throwing me off.)

Help me by telling me about some awesome boots you have seen or bought!
Ha ha, just the other day I was totally going to buy those Frye boots. Lucky for me they were out of stock... please don't tell me where I can find them, I really can't spend that money on them, but I LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteUm, dressing up little girls as big girls is freaky to me.
I really like my Merrell Tetra Launch boots. They have a shorter rise, but as I discovered the hard way, they look better on me. I seem to have have a short lower leg, that plus super skinny = kind of funny looking with most boots :-(
I need some new boots too, but I am now trying to only purchase new clothes after I reach my weight goals...
I just put those boots in my Amazon cart the other day. Maybe I am hoping that Andrew will accidentally buy them for me or something.
ReplyDeleteFrye boots hardly ever go on sale, do they? I wish I didn't like expensive things...
