Oh, I just couldn't resist. My cute little chicks needed their nails painted. How many chicks do you meet with painted nails??? Come on!
I used four great O.P.I. shades (apparently I like reds), and a few of the seven chicks got a day at the spa with me. It's a belated Easter present. ;)
sharing it with : chatty chics, delightful order, somewhat simple,
That is so funny. I love it. What kind of chicks did you get this time?
ReplyDeleteHey Erin! I got four americanas and three barred rocks.
DeleteThe second chick picture is hilarious! Hipster chick! :) Hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI know! They are so cute, and they actually stayed still for their nail jobs. I hope you have a great one too!
DeleteThis post almost made me laugh out loud in class!! Love!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you doing on the internet while in class . . . ;)
DeleteThose are some chic chicks! I hate to admit that their nails are nicer than mine. Jealous.
ReplyDeleteAdorable ! Love the chicks :)
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute! I believe I told you on my last comment, but that's the combination we will probably get too.
ReplyDeleteWhat age were your last batch of chickens? Rookie question, but I'm not sure how long they continue to produce eggs and thought I'd ask when we could plan on replacing our flock.
Hey Lauren! This will be my first time with americanas, so I don't know what to expect with them. My last batch were barred rocks, speckeled sussex, gold and silver laced, and gold comets. We still have them, and we won't kill them until the new ones start laying. Egg production starts to drop around 3-4 years, so it's up to you when you want to replace them. Our chickens are 3 years old, and some of them have gray feathers! . I would keep them until they die on their own, but we just can't have 13 chickens running around in our backyard. But I do wish!!
DeleteOH. MY. GOSH. I just LOLed, for real. That's hilarious!
ReplyDeleteOh My! That is so stinkin' hilarious. Let's hoped they return the favor with lots and lots of eggs.
ReplyDeleteSo funny! Love it! Thanks for sharing at my place! Too fun!
