Wonky Triangles Pattern Release

Y'all.  I just gave birth.  Okay, not really, but it seriously feels that way after all the hard work that went into this!!  So without further ado, I would like you to meet my 9 megabyte . . .

This is my first pattern, and it is available for sale on Craftsy and Etsy!  Woo hoo! Can I get a wha-what along with some powerful fist bumps?!  Guys and gals, I could not be more excited.  I hope you are too.

So let me tell you about this pattern.

A few fabric shops . . .

I wanted to introduce you to a few shops who have been so kind in supporting me as I prepare to release my first paper pieced pattern.   I am always amazed at people's generosity and support in the sewing community, and I feel so blessed.

When I sought out fabric shops for my giveaway day, I chose high quality shops with a fresh, modern perspective on design.  I feel these shops are a good representation of who I am, and I feel confident in saying that I think you will be pleased with each of these shops.  Each shop brings a little something different to the table.

I am happy to be working with Poppyseed Fabrics again.  They were the first company to introduce me to shop quality quilting cottons.  I made adorable trousers using Anna Maria Horner's reversible pants pattern using a few fabrics from Poppyseed Fabrics.  Kimberly is so sweet and fun.  She offers excellent customer service, fast shipping, and has a great selection of fabrics.  She carries a variety of yardage and  bundles that her shop puts together, which is awesome for those of us who have a hard time coordinating prints.  If you know what you want, you can create your own bundle too!

the six degrees of Paola Navone

While taking a little quilting break from unpicking lots of topstitching (gag!!),  I opened up October's issue of Better Homes and Gardens.  My jaw dropped when I stumbled upon an ad insert from Crate and Barrel, one of my favorite big box chain stores in America.

Well, that marketing trick worked like a charm C&B.

Basically, I drooled while browsing online, and after stuffing myself silly with design candy, I am barfing it all up in this post.   You are welcome.

Well, I googled Paola, and sure enough, there was a home tour.  A gorgeous home tour.  And then I stumbled upon this picture.

Um, hello!  I pinned that photo long ago because let's face it.  That chandelier rocks my world.   Little did I know that I already "knew" Paola.  So I'm cool like that.  And that, my friends, is the six degrees of Paola Navone, although it's not technically six making me even cooler.  ;)
